BULL POINT LIGHTHOUSE & SEALS

1    HRS

1/2

Join us in comfort and style onboard Kittiwake as we head West towards Bull point where the Bristol Channel meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Passing the historic Tunnels Beaches, now a breathtaking wedding venue complete with Victorian tidal pool we cruise along the coast of rugged outcrops, passing White Pebble, Hazel Bushes, and Freshwater bays to the charming hamlet of Lee Bay.

From here the short hop to Bull Point where we pass the lighthouse originally built in 1879 but replaced in the 1970's following a cliff fall. We then round the corner into stunning Rockham Bay in the hope we will see some of the Atlantic Grey Seals that live there.

Before heading back we travel a little further on towards Morte Point to get a glimpse of the expanse of Woolacombe Bay, with Baggy Point to the west, and on a clear day, Hartland in the far distance.

Lots to see and if we’re lucky a few seals to boot!

"Absolutely amazing trip this afternoon for my partner and 2 children (3 and 6). Lovely boat which felt very comfortable and safe for children. Felt very intimate and personal experience- lending us jackets when needed, speaking to all the guests, offering sweets to children. Very knowledgeable and friendly crew members who clearly value all their customers and take pride in their work. Couldn’t recommend this trip highly enough. Thank you all."

OUR FAMILY ETHOS

The Kittiwake team are committed to promoting and protecting our marine environment and will always halt the trip to recover any plastic pollution seen floating in the water.

We actively encourage our passengers to help look out for these opportunities and assist with the recovery, especially our younger guests.

Our schedule will always allow for this so that you can continue to enjoy all the sights above and help us make a difference to our coastal 'community'
